"Derelict...the Trash Party". Hostess With The Mostess Jen (below) and her "flatties" (err...that's the Kiwi slang for flatmates) threw a party at their flat on the weekend. Inspired by the Derelict fashion show in Zoolander, it was dress up in trash or as trash (ie. Trailer Trash or a Bogen as they call it here?) Props out to Marco B above who I didn't recognize for the first hour, until he lifted up his sunglasses and I had a moment of clarity..."HOLY SH!T IT'S MARCO".
Needless to say it was an awesome throw down, at times thinking the floor or balcony was about to fall down from all the jumping and moshing inside her tiny living room. It's not actually that small, but it is when you ram in about a 100 or so people? There will be no other names mentioned in this post...to protect the innocent :)
You can't tell from this photo but I was sporting a F-I-N-E handcrafted, handstitched, one off, custom tailored garbage bag jacket.
