Toronto Photoshoot: J-Bug's Client Shoot

Flipside to the weekend studio shoot with J-Bug was her client shoot on Sunday. She does hair for me on Saturday, I shoot for her on Sunday :) ...more than a fair trade. So to help her launch her new website junecroken.com she needed new pics. Enter a handful of her own handpicked clientele, ranging from cute and adorable kids to model-esque singles, couples, and parents.

Shot in order of appearance, the kids came in first for a quick style, followed by some singles and some "carved" heads, and finished up with the couples. My job was relatively easy, set up the lights and sit back and wait for the freshly coiffed clients to step onto the seamless...a little chat to make them feel at home and click...click...click...they did the rest. Honestly I've never shot a nicer, friendlier, more relaxed bunch of people...testament to June Bug's choices on who to invite.

Part of J-Bug's master plan was the use of a picture frame she brought from home. Take some shots of each person sans frame, and then with frame. The underlying agenda being to capture each person and their persona, to show a little bit of their personalities. So after a few specific instructions on poses June wanted to hit, we just let them do what they wanted and this is what came out.
