Blueberries With The Argies

Weekend pics from The Blueberry Farm with "The Argies" and Hannah-huh. Argies is Homer's nickname for The Argentinians. Jose, Daniel, Julia and "Floppy". There's an organic "pick your own" blueberry farm about 45 minutes north of the city. The blueberries are super tasty, but more importantly, each summer during the blueberry season, Gramma Rosita flies from Mexico to stay at the farm where she runs a little mexican food cafe on the property. Throw some patio furniture and a flat grill inside a garage and you've got the idea. Don't let the decor fool you though, this is hands down the BEST mexican food in New Zealand. Her burritos are even better than any I've ever had in Toronto AND Los Angeles. Yup...that good. Sorry Burrito Boys, sorry Baja Fresh. A bunch of us from work head up about once a month to get some burritos and blueberries. MMMmmmmmm....
